The Prayer Force
The Prayer Force is a team of all our prayer warriors who pray, at home or together at church, for the needs of our church.
The Prayer Force Meets Nightly
Every night at 7:00 p.m. the Prayer Force meets in the Sanctuary or Prayer Room and pray. We first read through all the prayer requests in our Prayer Basket and update cards as we get information. We also pray each night for a different family from our Church Directory. As we pray, we stand in a circle, holding hands, and some pray out loud while others pray silently. We all close together with The Lord’s Prayer. This Prayer Time is open to anyone to come and join us. If you would like your request to be prayed about, please use this form.
Prayer Room
The Campbelltown United Methodist Church is proud to have their very own Prayer Room. Located in room 205, this opportunity for quiet prayer is available to all our members whenever our church building is open. You may use the prayer room at your convenience or join us each Sunday morning when we meet for prayer at 8:30 a.m.
Prayer and Praise Baskets
Two baskets are being used to hold the numerous prayer concerns and praises that we would like to lift up to God. You can find the baskets at the alter railing on a Sunday morning or in the Prayer Room during the week. If you have a prayer concern or a praise, please fill out an index card in the basket and place the card in the appropriate basket. All prayer concerns are lifted up in prayer, each night, at our nightly Prayer Time.
Prayer Force Phone Chain
Can we pray for you? For many years our Prayer Force Phone Chain has been helping those who are hurting or in need. If you would like to add a person to the Prayer Force Phone Chain chain, call Jean Huff at 534-1430.
e-Mail Prayer Force
If you prefer to receive prayer requests by computer, we also provide an e-Mail Prayer Chain too! Please use this form. The e-Mail Prayer Force is a link to over 65 people who are committed to praying for our prayer requests. Once you submit your request, it is sent out to the entire list. As soon as they check their mail, they are praying for that particular request. Updates and Praises are also sent out though the e-Mail Prayer Force. Please let us know if you would like to just send a prayer request or become a fellow prayer warrior and join our e-Mail Prayer Force!
If you would like to request prayer for yourself, or someone you know, please don't hesitate. Use this simple form and tonight, at 7:00, our Prayer Force will pray for your request. Your prayer request will be added to the Prayer Basket, and will remain there for 30 days, and prayed for each night. If you would like the request to continue to be prayed for, just send us an update so the request is current. If you do not feel comfortable providing your name or email address, please don't. We just want to pray for you. If you are a member of Campbelltown UMC, feel free to use this form too. You may choose to have the prayer request sent out to our e-Mail Prayer Force too.
Due to HIPPA laws, we do ask that if you are submitting a prayer request for someone else, before you choose to send the prayer request to the e-Mail Prayer Force, that you please make sure they know that the request will get sent out to over 65 families. If you do not have permission, you may choose to not send the prayer request on the e-Mail Prayer Force by selecting "No" on the "Send to e-Mail Prayer Force?" field. This request will only be shared with those who attend prayer time.
